Default ? GWG PvP Tournament ?

There was a pretty successfull player organized tournament a while back.
My respect goes to all the organizers and participants of this tournament.

Rumors were spreading when the first tournament ended that another one will be organized MAYBE.

I would like to know whether this idea became obsolate or not.

With respect:
Keli

I actually wasn't that well-run or organized. Moreover, even a year ago, there was a better community than there is now.

Pretty sure that all outside interests that put on these tourneys have lost interest in doing so again.

I looked into running another one both in the Winter and earlier this Summer, but the downturn in the economy has really hampered getting anyone to pony up decent prizes like we had last time.

It was actually very well run and the organization was indeed a nightmare.

We have talked of doing another one but as Billiard mentioned there's not the interest from sponsors as there was a year ago. Most companies have tightened their belts. Our not putting one on has nothing to do with the current PvP community and whether or not it is better/smaller. Rather that in order to do one we would like it to be top quality prizes and that's difficult to do right now.

The guru tourney was cool, except for the cheating.

Shame no one plays PvP anymore...
